Immersion Overview & Commitments
What are the Shamanic Living Immersions and what are they not?
What they are:
This year together provides a solid foundation in living a more shamanic lifestyle with a deep knowing that Spirit is always walking with you.
You will learn how intrinsically connected to nature the universal shamanic cosmology is, become adept at journeying (soul-flight) for personal healing and guidance, establish relationships with key helping spirit guides, experience the medicinal qualities of conscientiously walking with the cycles and energies of the natural world, learn traditional techniques for maintaining personal healthy physical, spiritual, energetic and emotional bodies, connect and balance with the elements, and learn to make natural energetic remedies with the crystal and plant realms. You will also be supported and encouraged to personalize your practice by bringing in your cultural heritage and honouring your Ancestors. Full, in-person Immersion members receive private shamanic healing sessions, and will create and begin working with 3 sacred tools; medicine pouch, sacred rattle, and shamanic drum. Online Immersion members may choose to attend community inclusive workshops for the medicine pouch and sacred rattle making if desired.
The deeper you dive into the opportunities these Shamanic Living Immersions bring, the deeper you will experience personal healing and balancing through the year. These are initiatory experiences, as you heal life may shake up, become intense, and you will be presented with facing the 'hard stuff'. Akin to pulling out a splinter - it may be uncomfortable during the process but you will feel relief and greater well-being afterwards. You will be supported through it, emerging into a life of greater alignment. As new ways of being are integrated, life will become more harmonious and you will have a multitude of tools to draw on for years to come.
What it is not:
This is not "Shaman Training" or a Shamanic Practitioner Apprenticeship. I will not be sharing the wisdoms needed for you to facilitate traditional shamanic healing techniques such as Soul Retrievals, Extractions, Curse Unraveling, or Psychopomp. The Shamanic Living Immersions are just that ~ an immersion into a shamanic way of life ~ not a career option, certified skill, nor title to add to your name. This is an opportunity for you to facilitate a deep healing of your soul which leads to a more purposeful, joyful and balanced life.
After the Shamanic Living Immersion, plus the Shamanic Medicine Ways program; Mentorship in specific medicine ways and traditional shamanic techniques may be established with a very select few.

What is Your personal commitment?

- To yourself ~ commit to your healing work and seeing the year through to the end, to honour your needs while finding the balance between pushing through and pushing too hard.
- To Spirit ~ commit to your part in the healing work by following through with guidance given and by actively honouring and respecting your relationship with Spirit, to bring in your own medicine during the Immersion and to seek human supports as needed.
- To Juliette & The Group ~ commit to attending all components of the Immersion to the best of your ability, to not drink to excess or indulge in recreational drugs for 24 hours before attending a gathering, event or workshop, to be financially responsible & prompt with payment, to follow through with solo work, respect the other members of our group with confidentiality and to follow appropriate conflict management steps.
What are Juliette's commitments to you?
My commitments to you are:
- To step forward and apply the skills, training, and medicine that I have integrated, with as much compassion and wisdom I am capable of. This includes balancing care for your individual needs, the well being of the others individually, the container of the whole group, as well as those for myself.
- To uphold the integrity of the spiritual medicine work we do and to continue to develop professionally and personally.
- To deliver the course content to the best of my ability using the thinkific, facebook, zoom and mailchimp platforms.
What is the application process?
- Shamanic Living Immersion
Our in-person group numbers are limited to only 6 and due to the nature of the immersion;
1. An application must be filled out with application fee paid
2. A Conduct & Conflict Resolution Agreement must be signed
3. An Interview will be done
4. A consultation between myself and spirit will be conducted
For our mutual benefit and cohesiveness of the group, we need to establish as best as we can if you and the immersion are a good fit, as well as if we can connect and establish the repertoire needed for such sacred work
5. Tuition must be paid in full on or before October 1st
*It is wise to register early to receive an application package June 1st and return it promptly to increase chances of joining. - Online SLI members
Will experience the same application process as above with these exceptions:
1. The interview is conducted online via Zoom video conference
